        Heya. I've written up a VNC Troubleshooting guide here:

        As that guide will suggest, you should open a web-browser
on your VNC server and point it to "http://www.GoToMyVNC.com";.
That will confirm whether a VNC connection from the Internet is
ready to work.

        If it comes back yes, we'll need to look into any
firewall setups your workplace has. But lets get the easy stuff
out of the way first...
