Yeah, I know, read the archives. I did, but I couldn't find and answer to my
problem.

Here's what's going on:

I have a VNC Server loaded on a client PC. Before I left his office, I
verified it was working by using the viewer on another PC in his office. I
further verified that his router is setup to pass (forward) port 5900 by
having a friend access the server from his home over his DSL line. By the
way, my friend and my client both have the same DSL provider, I am on cable
modem.

Now from my PC at home I can ping my clients IP address, so I have verified as
best I can that I can at least hit his router. BUT, I am getting the 'ol
Cannot connect to Server error.

In the course of troubleshooting, I set up a VNC server at home and had my
friend hit it. It worked fine. BUT when I tried to hit HIS server, I
couldn't. And yes we tried bypassing my router with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Doug
