I've been running vncviewer on Solaris to look at :1 on the localhost, but
it just hangs now. Here's the info:

Xvnc version 3.3.3
VNC viewer version 3.3.7

I've always used this command:

vncviewer -shared -truecolour -depth 24 localhost:1

(Usually using the name of the machine instead of "localhost", but that
doesn't seem to be important.) The command has worked beautifully for
about 5 years, but now I see the following text but get no viewer window:

VNC viewer version 3.3.7 - built Feb 28 2003 18:40:13

Got 256 exact BGR233 colours out of 256
Using BGR233 pixel format:
  8 bits per pixel.
True colour: max red 7 green 7 blue 3, shift red 0 green 3 blue 6
Throughput 20074 kbit/s - changing to Hextile
Throughput 20074 kbit/s - changing from 8bit
Using viewer's native pixel format:
  32 bits per pixel.
Most significant byte first in each pixel.
True colour: max red 255 green 255 blue 255, shift red 0 green 8 blue 16

It hangs at that point, but the window used to pop up immediately. I then
hit Control-C and this appears before the command prompt returns:

CleanupSignalHandler called

I haven't made any changes to my system that could be important. I can
access the VNC session from a windows VNCviewer on another machine. Any
ideas?

Mike
