Hi... I've been using VNC for a while and recently changed my DSL connection to SBC. I got a Homeportal 1100SW DSL modem which can be accesed through ethernet, USB or wireless. I can get a conection from outside home if my laptop is hooked by ethernet but can not connect if it's wireless. I've already tried all possible IP addresses with no luck. Do I need to specify any host number after the IP address I use when connecting ethernet? Which is the real outside IP address my wireless network is using? The Homeportal firewall can open the VNC ports by conection type. When using ethernet I allow VNC to go through the ethernet connection but when using wireless it doesn't seem to work to allow VNC over the wireless connection. Which connection should I leave open? I'm sure this might be a very stupid question but I just can't get it. Thanks!
