When I start vncserver on my AIX box I get the following messages:

  >vncserver
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "transport2:1" in "add" command
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "transport2/unix:1" in "add" command

New 'X' desktop is transport2:1

The transport2:1.log file contain the following:

Xlib: connection to "transport2:1.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
  xrdb: Can't open display 'transport2:1'
Xlib: connection to "transport2:1.0" refused by server

1356-265 xsetroot: Unable to open display: transport2:1.

  /usr/bin/X11/xterm Xt error: Can't open display: transport2:1
Xlib: connection to "transport2:1.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
twm: unable to open display "transport2:1"

When I try connecting from another machine I can connect but get nothing to the rootweave and X.

I've seen this question has been posted several times over the last few years but no one ever seems to answer. Is there no solution and these people just gave up?
