Alright. Computer A and Computer B... Both are networked in my house. Computer A has the Viewer on it and Computer B has the Server on it. I run the listening Daemon on the Computer A and the server is run on the Computer B. When i go to add Computer A as a new connection i put in the IP address and it works fine. Then i go to Computer A and connect to Computer B. It works. But now when i put a server on a computer outside the network say at my friends house i put the Server.... i try to add Computer A as a new connection by typing in the IP and clicking OK but it says failed to connect to it.. i have my listening Daemon running and i dont know why it wont connect. Also when i go home to Computer A and try to connect to the friends computer... which i tried to add COmputer A as a new client it wont connect. I am wondering why it wont let me add Computer A as a new connection to my Friends server over the internet... should i be using the Computer's IP address or the Network routers IP because when i go to websites it tells me that my IP is my router IP but when i look on my computer my IP is not that.. so which IP should i be using the Router IP or the Computer IP?
