As I could see using Google, your stuff is a router. Have you tried to
connect your PC directly to your modem and see if your friend could connect to your
PC? If he can't, you might need to check your modem to see if you need to configure
port forwarding as well.
OTOH, make sure your friend is using the correct public IP address. To know
the public IP address, you could go to this URL which, in the same time, could help
you check if your config is correct.
