Greetings,
I have a feeling this is a Windows security-related issue, but since it
occurs when using VNC I thought I'd ask here.
I have a Mac Powerbook, on which I run VNCThing to connect to a Win2K
server that is running RealVNC. I have no problems connecting to the
server. After I have connected, following a random amount of time, I
am unable to run applications from the "Start" menu or double-clicking
on their respective icons. Sometimes I receive the error "Unable to
run this command." Other times, nothing happens. Perhaps on a related
note, the launch bar icons (e.g. "Show Desktop") don't do anything.
Double-clicking on a file to open it doesn't do anything, either.
However, if I click on "Start" and then use "Run..." it works O.K.
If this is a security feature, is there a way to override it, or would
that be ill-advised?
Thanx in advance.
