Ive just installed the VNC 4.0 with Server on win98 and viewer in winXP both in my local net at home. It works perfectly. But I have some queries because theres something I havent found out in the documentation. Well, I am too experienced in computers but I would like to know if the viewer is getting access to the Server trough internet remote connection or trough my local net work (router 256kbits). Actually, the display on my XP takes sometime to show the Server desktop after any change and the line speed estimated by the VNC connection info is around 1000 kbits/s. In my opinion it seems to be internet connection but as I told you I am not experienced in it. I would be very please if you could clarify my ideas. Looking forward to hearing from you.
