Yup ... tried running x0vncserver on server side and vncviewer<IP>:0 on client but got "unable to connect to host: Connection refused (111)" ... x0vncserver gave output of => Sat Jul 17 22:20:15 2004 main: XTest extension present - version 2.2 Using shared memory XImage main: Listening on port 5998 so I opened port 5998 and 5801 on both machines, then told firestarter to trust the other machine, but to no avail. vnc/.xstartup still vanilla version. Oh and vnc/vnc-server are version 4.0-1.beta4.11 ... ie, the latest and greatest.
Any ideas?
