wez,
no, I didn't use fast user switching nor did I use the remote desktop on the machine (not on the client machine and not on the server machine).

the server machine is a windows xp professional sp1 with all current hotfixes (but no SP2), the client machine is the same.
settings on server (which works with absolutely none of the clients):
while connected
-> remove wallpaper -> not ticked
-> remove background pattern -> not ticked disable user interface -> effects -> not ticked
settings on client (which works with other servers fine): colour/encoding -> auto select colour level low (64 colors) (tried the other settings as well)
thanks. marco

Hi,
I have a problem on one machine running a VNC 4 server.
I connect from a client and can control the server (I see the mouse movement and so on), but I don't see the screen contents on
servers fromI only have a black / blank screen. I can see many other
provide histhis client without problems, only this one server doesn't
well, I deletedscreen anymore.
I reinstalled RealVNC4, tried TightVNC and UltraVNC as
every registry key that had VNC in the name and tried to reinstall without success.
Any hints for me? I don't know what I could check else...
