Praveen, VNC and Remote Desktop do not work well together. When I try to use them on my XP system I get a different error than you but it still fails. There have been some really good descriptions of the problem in this list but the bottom line is to just avoid using them both on the same system - it does not work.
Does Win2k have Remote Desktop? I thought it was just a feature of WinXP Pro - that's where I use it. I have a SBS2000 server (uses Win2K OS) and would love to be able to use Remote Desktop if it is available - I currently use MS Terminal Services. Alan. Alan Watchorn Eshelman Appraisals, Inc.
