'Which is best' is such a difficult question - the DNS updater program I use my friend doesn't like. The one he uses, I can't get to work! Anyway, I tried several of the *freeware* ones listed at: http://www.dyndns.org/services/dyndns/clients.html And personally, I use: DynDNS-Updater by Nord Vision http://www.nord-vision.de/data/index.php?new_sprache=2&seite=58 Oh, and I applied their 'registry fix' too: http://www.nord-vision.de/download/dyndns-updater/ddusrv_autostart_fix.reg It runs as a Windows XP Service - so I installed it and have never needed to touch it. The only configuration option I changed was to make it check for a new IP address every 1 minute - rather than the default 1 hour - as I tend to diconnect and reconnect to the web quite regularly. Hope that helps.
