Marc,

You are having problems with SP2 and XP because when SP is installed it runs its new firewall automatically rendering VNC unusable after install until you either
A) Disable the firewall totally or
B) and a rule in the XP firewall to allow VNC to pass thorugh.

Problem solved =)

Subject: XP Sp2 help

We have been using VNC to provide web demos to small groups.

Suddenly, after installing SP 2 on XP, clients are having connection
problems. We have them connecting via a web page link to

What setting are changing in the IE 6.0 settings after the upgrade?
