The file is using an IP address to locate the server and both computers can
ping the address.

It also works when typing the address directly into the viewer and when
using the java interface just the file is the problem.

I know this may seem like a small point as I could create a file on the new
computer but I need to roll this out across our network.

In the .vnc file, what form is the Host parameter specified in?  Does it use
a name or an address?
