Actually, the code compiles just fine :)

The problem is that X is a bit slow when doing pixel updates. So if you set the vnc viewer to zrle or at least hextile, it's actually faster than when using raw encoding. (given the bandwidth of course).

Pedro, is that what you mean?

TightVNC and Chicken of the VNC and found them all quite
slower with the same settings (when available).
