I have a vino-session running on a SuSE 8.1 variant, with the encryption box checked.
When the encryption is off I can connect with any vncviewer. When it is on, I get the error that there is no matching security types. If I connect with a Windows exploder, or Mozilla firefox only the top 1" appears, the rest of the screen is black, I can take over the desktop, I just can not see what I am doing, and any mouse movements in the visible area turn it black as well. If I connect with another Linux box and Mozilla all works as expected. To summarize my questions, why does the browser support different encryption than the vnc viewer does, and second, why do the windows browsers choke on displaying the entire desktop.
