Im real new at this but have invested plenty of reading and research over the past few days to rectify my set up issues. Your forum is informative; however, I cannot seem to find the appropriate solution. Unfortunately, I must write to you for assistance. I am running Windows XP Pro on both server and viewer computers. I have a static IP address from my ISP and am using a Linksys router. The router has been configured to port forward 5500/5800/5900/5901/5801. On the viewer I am trying to connect to my WAN IP:5900 and no success. I am able to ping the WAN from the outside. Could anyone offer some suggestions?
