I have two monitors at work. At home with only one, the single screen acts
as if it were two screens wide except that I only see the right or left one
at any one time. If I'm working on the "left" screen and move the mouse
pointer to the right side of the visible screen, the "right" screen slides
into view. It's a little touchier than I prefer, but it is still very useable.
