Hi, I am using VNC 3.3.7 in an office environment. The Server App of VNC is installed on each Workstation which are using mostly Windows 2000 and few workstations using WinXP. I have installed the VNC Viewer on the Windows 2000 Server. During the installation of the VNC Server App, I configured each instance appropriately and input the password. I was curious about the fact that I was not required to input the Computer Name ( I have to connect to each workstation using Computer Name because the IP Addresses are Dynamic rather than Static ).
After installing the VNC View on the desktop of the Server, I attempted to connect to one of the workstations, using it's Computer Name....I received an error " Failed to get Server Address". What have I missed ? Thank you in advance for your assistance Dale -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
