Hello All,

I'm running VNC4.0 for Solaris8 and Solaris9. (Sun Sparc)

I'm using vnc with ssh for more secure connection.
But I'm still in trouble to have access control and logged with Xvnc.

And I tried Xvnc to start with inetd.
I've successed on launching VNC with proper password, but I can see only grey
window ^^;;

My inetd.conf for vnc with inetd when I don't use tcp as following:
vnc1024 stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/Xvnc Xvnc -inetd -query
localhost -once passwordFile=/.vnc/passwd -depth 16 -geometry 1024x768

I read Mike miller's meassage here:
http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/1999-November/010871.html

And Wolfram Gloger's message here:
http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/1998-September/002635.html

I wonder is there any update for VNC4.0 and I can't even get patch for earlier
Xvnc.

How can I patch Xvnc to use TCP wrapper ???

Thanks in advance

Best Regards,

JooHwan Kim
