I'm afraid I'm not of much help here because I have never used Apani's VPN and am not familiar with it. There are multiple kinds of VPN and most standalone ones are IPSec - I use (and very successfully with VNC I might add) PPTP - the client is built into Windows and the server runs on my SBS2000 system so anyone with a Windows workstation (configured properly) can call in.

Possibly increasing the MTU size for the VPN may help. Additionally you could try slowing down the connection by lowering the color depth and resolution.... Maybe Alan will post I think he has worked with VPN more I just use SSH all the time :) Just some thoughts. --Angelo On Tue, 18 Jan 2005 13:13:54 +0100, Carlyle Sutphen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello. > > I have RealVNC 4 installed on XP as a service at work. > > I have tested the connection from a colleques machine and it works fine. > > At home, I have Suse Linux 9.2 (kernel 2.6) and connect to my company's network using Apani's VPN client.
