Hi
I am using VNC to connect my office linux box from
home. My office has firewall in its gw (to which i
dont have access)with only specific ports open. Assume
that port X is open. Till last week, i run my VNC
server in port X and iam able to connect the vnc
server (running in my office Linux box) from my home.
But from last week iam unable to connect my home
system to my office linux box.
To test whether the port X is open, i put my ftp
server to port X and tried accessing from home. I was
able to access it (which means port X is open).
Can anyone please suggest me why iam able to access my
ftp server thru port X and not my VNC
