   KJ,

"Connection rejected by user" means that the VNC Server is configured to
prompt the local user of the computer on which it is running to accept the
connection. If they don't accept it, or if they explicitly reject it,
   you'll see this message.

Thanks. That's very helpful.

But I'm not out of the woods yet; now I have another problem. After I
enter the password for the vnc server, the connection dies instantly
with a message like this one:

Thu Mar 3 22:13:25 2005
 main: End of stream

Does anyone know what this means? (Again, no message appears in the
log files to suggest that this may be a client-side firewall issue.)

Thanks again,

kj
