James,
Does shared mode provide a viewer to set an independent connection to server 
and issue commands to it.  Will the effects of commands be observed by all the 
other viewers connected to server real time.

        If you set shared mode on either the server or on the viewers then you 
can
        connect multiple viewers to the server at the same time.
