it looks to me like display scaling was removed from the free versions entirely. that is one of the reasons I still use version 3.3.7. display scaling works great there.

When I connect to the host machine (1280x1024) from my laptop (1024x768) I get an unscalable window displaying a portion of the host machine's screen, and have to scroll around to interact with all of it. I'd rather not. I can get the entire screen by 1) changing the host machine's display to 1024x 768 and 2) hitting F8 on the laptop and selecting full-screen mode. Again, I'd rather not. Running in full-screen mode isn't such an issue, but I don't care to change my host machine's display settings every time I want to run a VNC session (and the laptop's display settings are maxed). A look through the list archives reveals that user-side display rescaling is not available in the free version. This implies to me that I should at least be able to contol this on the server side, no? If so, how? Thanks!
