Hello all.

I have searched through the archives and have not found any answers
for the problems I am having. I have a machine on my lan that where
VNC is running on that standard ports. I have forwarded 8082 to port
5900 and 8083 to port 5800 (Because I am behind at firewall at my work
and unable to get out on other ports). I am able to access the java
viewer just fine on 8083, but when I try to connect with either it or
the VNC client, my connection times out. I'm not sure if this is my
router's problem, or VNC's problem. I also forwarded 5900 to 5900 and
when I am at a location where this port is not firewalled, it works
great. (So its clear that my router does some forwarding sucessfully).
I also tried entering my ip and all the combinations of a double
colon, a single colon, the port 2182 (the display port), 8082, and
8083.

Thank you all for the help.
