I am running VNC Viewer in listen mode, and my colleague is trying to
connect to me using VNC Server. As soon as he tries to connect a VNC Viewer
Information dialogue box appears on my screen with the 10022 error.
My PC is running Windows XP Professional SP2
VNC 4.1.1 Free Edition
Ports 5500, 5800 and 5900 are open on my machine
VNC Viewer and Server are both allowed through my McAfee firewall
His IP address is allowed through my firewall
I can ping his IP address and he can ping mine.
I can connect to his machine using VNC Server.
We have used VNC 3.3.7 in the past without any problems, but since we have
upgraded we have not been able to succesfully make a connection to my PC. As
far as I am aware nothing has changed on my PC.
Any help would be appreciated.
