I am using a Cadence application with Redhat distributed version of RealVNC. I am having a problem with especially waveform windows but also other Cadence apps where updates are not happening.
If for example I do a check and Save in Cadence composer and new errors are detected in the schematic little error boxes are supposed to be drawn on offending points. They don't appear. I can tell VNC to refresh and they still do NOT appear. However if I tell the Cadence application to do a window refresh (redraw) they do appear. I don't have this problem with Exceed and the same Gnome window manager setup. Any help would be much appreciated.
