Heya. So when you open a web browser on your VNC
Server PC, and run the scan at www.GoToMyVNC.com, what
does it say? If it can detect a VNC Server, then you will
be able to connect to your VNC Server from outside of
your LAN using the same IP address the scan is testing.
If it cannot, please confirm that the server is
accepting connections correctly from *inside* of the LAN.
For example, startup a VNC Viewer on a second PC, and try
to connect to the internal IP address; I think in your case
it was 192.168.0.2.
If your VNC Server accepts connections from the
inside, but the GoToMyVNC scan fails from the outside, then
something is still "blocking" the connection. The most
likely culprit is the port-forwarding in your NAT'ing
router. It'a also possible that your ISP is blocking any
incoming connections to the standard VNC port. Since you
say you can connect to an ftp server on your VNC Server PC
from the outside world, my last suggested experiment would
be to shut down the ftp server, run the VNC server on TCP
port 21 instead of 5900), and see if you can connect from
the outside. Just append "::21" to the end of the address
you put in the VNC Viewer. It's very unusual for an ISP to
block VNC connections, but it's not unheard of.

And you have *specifically* told the router to send connections on port
5800-5900 to your PC inside the router? Not just opened those ports up in
the router, but actually pointed those ports to a specific IP address?
