Hi Hal,

What versions of server and viewer are you using... I've installed
many variants and versions and do find for the most part that the
RealVNC 4.1.x viewer to RealVNC 4.1.x server using ZRLE is very
stable/reliable and compares very close to the fastest mix I can
come up with of all the varied variants and versions...

As only the later RealVNC versions match up supporting ZRLE this is
   probably Not surprising...

It *seemed* like with Real, that I was beginning to see delays when I double
clicked on icons before the screen showed the full window, fully updated, but
I'm not sure. It could also be slower connections, or just my imagination.
I'm asking because I was looking for compression settings and some info and
didn't find ay.

As I said, I was wondering if it was my imagination. I'm more than willing to
accept that it was. I'm sure you know what I mean -- you change something,
just a small thing, and your mind plays tricks on you, when you think that
something's changed.

Thanks for the assurance! ;-)

Hal
