Are you trying to connect to a machine on the local network or connect to a
machine over the internet? More details on how you're trying to connect,
please?

Sorry if I sound very un'IT'literate!
VNC has been put on a computer where I used to work. I have installed VNC
viewer and have the correct IP address but it will not let me connect. I
have disabled the firewalls my end, is it a problem their end?
