i have found avnc on http://w2.alkit.se/avnc/

Alkit VNC is a modified version of the 'Virtual Network Computing'
software developed by AT&T Laboratories Cambridge. The original VNC
applications is, "in essence, a remote display system which allows you
to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the machine where
it is running, but from anywhere on the Internet and from a wide variety
of machine architectures. " The modifications by Alkit Communications
are intended to make the software more useful for application sharing
purposes in remote collaboration settings. This version makes it
possible to share a single window instead of sharing the full desktop.
In collaboration scenarios, one typically wants to share one application
that is used collaboratively. It is still possible to share the full
desktop if desired.

it based on the good old vnc version 3.3.3

it works, but i see two problems:
- the performance screen refresh is not good
- if the shared window is not in foreground on server it seems
unpossible to control the window from the client side

Has anyone found a solution?

Are ther any plans to involve such a feature in the realvnc 4.1.1 ??
