Hmm... then it *should* be just as simple as putting in the IP address of
the server when you launch the viewer. When you hold your mouse cursor over
the VNC icon in the system tray, does it say "listening" or does it say "not
listening"? Also, what operating systems and do you have any sort of
software firewall? Final question: is either the viewer or (more
importantly) the server on a wireless connection? Some routers are "brain
dead" and won't allow you to use VNC to connect to a server on a wireless
connection.

These computers are in the same house. We do have DSL so they are networked
for that. The IP I am trying to use is a 192.168.xxx. So I don't know if it
