My VNC worked well some days ago. But the VNC cannot copy&paste between
windows and Unix. So I updated it to a higher version VNC4.0. After the
update, the copy&paste problem solved, but another problem appeared: the X
session died if no actions after a period.

My procedures:

1. start vncserver on the UNIX machine (Solaris 2.9 SPARC) (e.g. about 08:38
on Feb 09)

2. start vncviewer on Windows2000 machine to connect to the VNC server.
 All looks well, and I can do the remote actions as normal.

3. No actions on the VNC client for about 50 minutes. If I switched back to
the VNC viewer window on Windows2000, the desktop became grey with only a
large "X" (no any toolbars or X windows) on the desktop.

In the VNC logs, there's nothing abnormal.

================
xstartup file:
================
#!/bin/sh

/usr/dt/bin/Xsession &
[ -r $HOME/.Xresources ] && xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
vncconfig -nowin &

When I start a VNC server on other's workstation, it still has the same
problem while others use that well. Is there something wrong in my profile?
It
has confused me several days. Could anyone give me some help on the
problem? What kind of parameter generated such a problem?

Thank you very much!
