And of course... I found the answer within a minute of sending this off.
After a full day of searching.
You need to uncomment the parameters in /etc/sysconfig/vncserver in
order for the service to be able to start.

If I run vncserver as a foreground process from the command line, it
seems to work fine, and I can log in...
Has anyone got any idea what's going on, or what I can do to track
down the problem?
