Um, as said in my original message, we're using x11vnc. So, I don't see how RealVNC can be of help on the server side. Nonetheless, I tried RealVNC's "vncviewer": Copying from the host to the remote desktop worked precisely once. Afterwards, always the same text was pasted to the remote desktop, independently of what I had selected on the host.
