I didn't realize, until after I e-mailed, that I used the wrong line,
with two dashes. I have tested:

vncconfig.exe LocalHost=true

and seen it change the setting. Before running this command, I made
sure the LocalHost Only option was unselected. I ran this command, and
the config window popped up, with LocalHost Only selected. To be sure,
I tested it a few more times, with and without the LocalHost argument
on the command like. Maybe it's not supposed to, but it works. I got
it from a page on realvnc.com
(http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/winvnc.html#UserMode). It
didn't directly say to use the arguments on the command line, but along
with each description of an option in the GUI, it included arguments
like the one I'm using, so I tried it and it worked.

Now, if it doesn't work, that changes my question. Just for the record,
at this point, I have two questions about config:

1) If this does not work, how can I, from the command line, change the
"LocalHost Only" option to true? I want to make sure this is set when
RealVNC is installed. Isn't there some way to make sure this is set
when I install the program or each time it is run from the command
line? (Actually it's run from Java, but run with command line
arguments if needed.)

2) Since this does seem to work, is there a way to set an option like
this without opening the window and making sure vncconfig.exe runs and
exits? Or is there a way to specify this option when running
winvnc.exe?

I'm basically trying to make sure that everything is set for the person
using this so they don't see any setting dialogues or windows and so
everything is as secure as possible for them so they don't have to
think about this.

Hal
