I would double-check that your Norton Internet Security has an exception BOTH for port 5900 *and* for the winvnc4.exe. I seem to recall that other people have had similar problems and it turned out that you had to allow an exception *specifically* for the exe *and* the port. At the very least it's highly unlikely that making an exception for both is likely to cause any problems. Also, as has been previously stated, you should telnet on port 5900 from another machine on your lan to make sure that the server is actually running and listening on port 5900. Then, you should use the website that James Weatherall suggested (or http://www.gotomyvnc.com will also do that, but it also has the added benefit that it tells you what your current IP address is, and you can check that against your DYNDNS name to make sure they match.)
