Hello,

I believe I am suffering from the same issue as this person:-

http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/2005-September/052246.html

My system automatically wakes itself to perform TV recordings and I also wake it via WOL packets, I do not use RDP or fast user switching.

I know when the system wakes itself for a recording I get no output on my monitor until a key is pressed and if I try to connect I get the VNC error mentioned, so suspect the graphics cards hasn't woken in some way and this is causing the VNC issue (there are no options in my BIOS to re-POSt after a resume from S3 STR).

It has been mentioned that VNC could be changed such that when it see's the incoming event it could trigger a windows event of some kind (eg. issuing a keyboard command) to wake the graphics and therefore get around this problem - has any work been done/is planned on this issue?

Thanks,
Simon.
