Here's what I'm trying to do (IPs and names are not the same as in reality):
1. ssh -D 1080 some-remote-machine.dyndns.org 2. proxychains vncviewer 192.168.3.43:2 Not much happens - I just get some text output. With tighvnc's vncviewer, at least a window pops up, but it just shows white empty space. With krdc, everything works fine, but there are other issues. Any idea why socksification of RealVNC's vncviewer fails? Has anyone got it working? -- Dipl.-Phys. Felix E.
