I also think that that's where the problem lies. In fact, I've found a report by someone who successfully socksified RealVNC's vncviewer: http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/2002-February/028173.html He used drifferent tools for socksification, and I may try out those. -- Dipl.-Phys.
