I am new to RealVNC and have found it to be absolutely great for accessing
clinical sites from remote locations. I have only been using it to connect
from PC -> PC and now have a clinical application for accessing one of our
Sun boxes. I have installed the vnc-4_1_1-sparc-solaris.pkg on the sun box
and all appears to work ok on the Sun box side of things as far as starting
up the vncserver and setting the password. However, I get a connection
refused error when trying to connect to the Sun box from my laptop running
Windows XP.

I have searched the list hopping to avoid bothering you all with newbie
questions only to find two relevant messages and both I appear to have done.
I can't seem to access the PC from the Sun and/or vice versa. I could live
without the Sun to PC connection but the PC to Sun connection is a must for
what I would lie to accomplish clinically. One interesting thing I found is
that the vncserver starts the hostname:1 instead of hostname:0 which from my
searching seams to cause another set of issues relating to getting a grey
screen upon successful connection.

If someone could help me out in getting this set up and straightened out
these issues I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer,
