John,

Turning off "Fast User Switching" in XP didn't help. I still get the error
message:

--------------------
Unable to connect to host: A socket operation was attempted to an
unreachable host. (10065)
--------------------

What is making the laptop an "unreachable host"? I have no clue, but it
seems to me that it is something on the Fedora 4 side, not the Windows-XP
side.

Regards,

Mark

Disable Fast User Switching in XP. At this time, it is incompatible with at
least the free version of VNC.
