I was trying Xfree 4.2.1 before. Sorry bout the bad info.
I can build XFree86 4.3.0 without VNC 4.1.2 and it goes all the way through and
I end up having various excutables in
programs/Xserver.
If I then add in te VNC, I get no executables.
Should I have LD_LIBRARY_PATH set to anything? It seems to me to be using 64
bit libraries some times and 32 bit sometimes.
I do the first "./configure" and then "make" to get the vncconfig, vncviewer
etc and it seems to be fine.
Just when I goto xc and do the "make World".
Where would I comment out the "module build line" in the note below?
I can send the output of "make World" if you would want to see it.
thanks for the help
tom

RE: XFree86-4.6
and realvnc 4.1.2
Hi Tom,
XFree86 4.3.0 appears to compile correctly for Linux x86_64 for me. The VNC
codebase should compile cleanly under x86_64, but you may need to comment
out the module build line at present.

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.
