Ricardo,

That step is only necessary if, as in your case, you have disallowed access
from all other IP addresses.  It's not required in an out-of-the-box
installation.  Furthermore, having the viewer IP disallowed by the IP
address filter will cause "Connection closed unexpectedly", rather than
"Connection timed out".
