Defender -- So how should they properly permit C:\Program
Files\UlraVNC\winvnc.exe using Windows Defender? I thought you did this in
Software Explorer but I'm also reading that the opportunity to select
"Always Allow" appears only if Defender pops open an alert. Can I just go
ahead and select "Always Allow" anyway, regardless of any alert, just to
make sure?

Firewall -- I have now installed UltraVNC on my girlfriend's Windows XP, and
Windows Firewall seems to include exceptions for port 5800, port 5900 and
program C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe. It all works fine.
Presumably then, I don't need to also add an exception for the C:\Program
Files\UlraVNC\winvnc.exe program?

If I replicate all this on Vista, it should presumably run okay?
