hello
I had a VNC access running between my own PC
(Viewer) up to a remote Internet connected PC
(Server) which was working very fluently.
The remote PC had to be replaced by a new one,
running Vista these days; I rebuilt the whole VNC
Server world into this new PC ( as a service,
port 5900 opened, access password).
This access does not work anymore; here what happens:
* launching the connection, I get open the
small VNC Authentication panel which asks for the password
* I key in the password, identical, needless
to say, to the one entered at install time there
* a VNC Viewer alert box pops up immediately
saying: The connection closed unexpectedly. Do you wish to
* I click Yes
* it loops ...
It seems to me that my request reaches the remote
PC since I am asked for the password.
But, obviously, the connection does not work.
