I don't agree that it is a good idea. After all, one man's noise is another
man's information.

I like to see the discussion of a problem is developing. It is often only
after one or two thoughts backwards and forwards that I recognise that a
problem has some relevance to me from a learner or helper point of view. If
all I see is the problem and the resolution I may well ignore the whole
thing, and I would miss something useful

In Outlook at least, the delete button is so quick and easy I can't see the
problem!
