To be fair, I remember now that I use VNC(viewer) from a Win2000 Pro
workstation on a fairly regular basis.  I haven't seen any problems with
this setup, which I think contains the 3.3.3r2 viewer (don't remember
whether this is the latest).  The machines in question have Nvidia TNT2
video cards and (i think) 3c905B NICs - but I can't quite be sure of the
latter, or any other detail, because I don't administrate these machines -
I'm just forced to use them for one of my University programming courses.
